My Story

On Sunday 14th June 2026, I will be taking on the Gurkha Welfare Trust's Doko Challenge South. Running in the footsteps of the 'Bravest of the Brave', I will attempt to follow a 5km undulating cross-country course through Wimbledon Common with a weighted Nepali Doko basket strapped to my back!

I have pledged to fundraise £100, which will help give Gurkha veterans and their families in Nepal the means to live with dignity.

With your help, The Gurkha Welfare Trust pays Welfare Pensions (£114/month) to veterans who put their lives on the line to fight for Great Britain, and provides medical treatment at home for veterans and widows living in the remotest villages in Nepal. They also improve the lives of communities in Nepal, constructing new water systems to bring clean water to thousands of doorsteps, and rebuilding schools which in turn give Nepali children the education they deserve.

"Dhanyabad" (Thank you) in advance for your support!
